The Cannes Film Festival 2024 is drawing to a close. While the winners of the Official Selection andUn Certain Regard will be announced on May 25, the winners of Critics' Week, the festival's parallel section directed by Ava Cahen, were announced on Wednesday May 22.
Chaired by French producer Sylvia Pialat - who replaced Spanish director Rodrigo Sorogoyen at short notice - this 63rd Semaine de la Critique and its jury of Eliane Umuhire, Virginie Surdej and Ben Croll awarded 7 prizes at the end of a week of intense screenings, much appreciated by cinephiles.
