Hogwarts Legacy: The Hogwarts Legacy, continues to show itself on social networks, either through new trailers or teasers, revealing a little more secrets of this game, while continuing to maintain the mystery about its content. Story, fights, gameplay... Enough to please the gamers who are waiting impatiently for this game... But what they are waiting for is to be able to cast spells!
And these spells, they are particularly awaited, the previous Harry Potter games having already allowed us to cast some of them, not without frustration as for the choice and the effects of the latter. But Hogwarts Legacy: The Hogwarts Legacy intends to correct this with a much wider range of spells, and to meet the expectations - especially the demands - of the players.
What are these spells? For lack of an official and complete list, we propose you our own list of known spells, discovered through trailers and social network posts... Revelio!
Accio - Spell of attraction, allows you to attract enemies to you to better fight them. You can also interact with the environment by drawing bridges, walls and other objects towards you to unlock access or reveal secrets.
Depulso - Banishment spell and Accio's counter spell, allows you to violently repel your enemies.
Lumos - Spell of light, allows you to illuminate the zones plunged in the darkness, but also to dissipate certain illusions and to push back the Nets of the Devil.
Nox - Contresort of Lumos, turns off the light at the end of your wand.
Expelliarmus - Disarming spell, allows you to disarm your enemies, whether they have a wand or another weapon in hand.
Wingardium Leviosa - Levitation spell, allows you to levitate your enemies or objects (abbreviated as "Leviosa" in one of the trailers).
Revelio - Spell to reveal what has been hidden by a spell, used here to reveal secrets, but also the position of chests and other hiding places in the game area.
Reparo - Repair spell, allows you to repair objects, in this case bridges, as seen in the trailers, but also to reveal passages.
Avada Kedavra - Death Spell, kills your enemy instantly. Note that all three Unforgivable Spells (Avada Kedavra, Imperio and Endoloris) have been confirmed by Avalanche Studios.
Endoloris - Doloris Spell, allows you to torture your enemies, inflicting unbearable pain.
Imperio - Spell of the Imperium, allows you to control an enemy and make him do what you want. In the game, allows you to turn enemies against them.
Disillusionment Spell - Allows you to camouflage yourself by making you invisible. Used in the game to infiltrate and attack your enemies stealthily or open certain chests.
Petrificus Totalus - Sausage spell, allows you to freeze enemies.
Stupefix - Stupefixion spell, allows you to neutralize enemies by knocking them unconscious.
Protego - Shield Charm, generates a force field around its user and, when cast at the right moment, sends back spells cast against you.
Oppugno - A spell that allows you to use an object to attack, in this case weapons or explosive barrels.
Descendo - Spell to make an opponent or objects fall/shatter.
Diffindo - A cutting spell, used to slice through objects. In Hogwarts Legacy, the spell would break the Shield Charm, among others.
Confringo - Explosive spell, generates an explosion once the target is hit.
Incendio - An incendiary spell that allows you to shoot flames from your wand. Allows you to repel the Inferi.
Glacius - A spell that allows you to freeze your enemies. This one was confirmed in a short clip released by the official game page on Instagram.
Ridikkulus - Allows you to conjure up an Epouventard. The spell was teased on the pages of a spell book by the game developers.
Rictusempra - Tickle curse, causes an overwhelming urge to laugh. The spell was teased on the pages of a spell book by the game developers.

Just wait for an official confirmation for those who have not yet done so! Also note that some spells can be used in combo with others. You will be able to learn most of the spells during the game, but some of them will be taught to you by the friends you make throughout the adventure.
