This autumn season is full of mystery and dread in the world of The Sims... EA and The Sims 4 have unveiled the themes of upcoming packs and events, and they've already got us dreaming! Here we discover the name of the next expansion pack, scheduled for release on October 31, 2024.
AHalloween pack, named"À la vie, à la mort", which should be centered around a certain Grim Reaper... The iconic Sims character, the embodiment of death in the game, will be the focus of attention this season.
Not much is known about this future pack. The Sims team has promised a first glimpse of the DLC on October 3, 2024: we hope the trailer will live up to our expectations.
An expansion pack based around life and death can take many forms. Cemeteries and funerals, ghosts, communication with the afterlife, Grim Reaper careers and ghost hunters, haunted houses... The Sims 4 already offers some of these elements, so should we expect totally new gameplay? Will there be a new world in this pack? If so, in which part of the world will it be set?
The short video announcing The Sims shows a tarot-like deck of cards, on which the Grim Reaper character is depicted, a flower in her hand, a butterfly above her. Hidden clues to what lies ahead? We can only speculate while we wait for an official presentation of the À la vie, à la mort pack.
