Need to recharge your batteries for a day? Did you know that the Val d'Oise is home to the only spa in the Paris region? The town of Enghien-les-Bains is renowned for its thermal water, one of the most sulfurous in France. Les Thermes d'Enghien-les-Bains offers a range of anti-pollution and wellness cures, including a full day of relaxation. A great idea for a getaway that recharges your batteries and leaves you feeling refreshed.
Through this mini-cure (priced at 199 euros), this center run by Val Vital offers us the chance to discover the benefits of the thermal waters of Enghiens through thermal treatments, a facial, lunch at the Grand Hôtel where the center is located, and access to the sublime Spa Diane Barrière overlooking Lake Enghien and the Eiffel Tower, no less! Please note that part of this offer involves respiratory spa treatments, so medical authorization is required to take advantage of it.
It all begins with a cellular oxygenation session using the Jacquier air bowl, which makes the most of the virtues of Pine Essential Oil. Next, the spa staff lead you through the thermal treatments, which take place in several stages: first humming, then gargling and finally mouth and nasal spraying. At the end of the session, you'll already be able to breathe more easily, which in turn will make you aware of certain discomforts you had before the session. It's a fun way of discovering these treatments, alongside a team who are there to guide you and teach you.
At the end of this treatment, we're taken to the cabin for a facial using Yogalift methods and Valvital ranges. In Viviane's company, we continue to benefit from this pedagogical approach, while enjoying a particularly complete treatment in which every step is explained in detail. Our skin is examined, diagnosed and, so to speak, treated, and the whole process unfolds in such a way that we can see an immediate effect at the end of the treatment, while at the same time receiving valuable advice on how to maintain our skin afterwards, the latter having proved their effectiveness.
The skin undergoes a thorough cleansing before the appropriate treatments are applied one after the other, while the skin is massaged, with a guasha step. But during this session, it's not just a facial we're offered, but also a rest for body and mind, punctuated by moments of sophrology to encourage relaxation. When the mask is applied, we are given the choice of a scalp massage or a hand massage. We happily opt for the former. At the end of the treatment, we're given a booklet with a suggested personalized routine, adapted according to the diagnosis, and we really advise you to stick to their recommendations-the advice was golden. As the morning draws to a close, it's time to indulge in a delicious meal at theGrand Hôtel's 85 restaurant, whose menu is included in the offer, apart from drinks.

After this stopover, it's time to enjoy the rest of the day at the Diane Barrière spa, where we can take advantage of two pools, one of them a sports pool, and the other equipped with various jets, a fountain and a counter-current walk, all while offering us that stunning view we were telling you about earlier. When the sun's out, we enjoy the solarium on the spa terrace. We've come full circle, and by the end of this mini-cure, we feel as rested as if we'd been away for a weekend!
