Whether you're a big fan of aviation or not, running on an airport runway is an exceptional experience not to be missed! This Sunday, October 20, 2024, the association Aviation Sans Frontières is organizing a solidarity run, the AéroRun, for its first edition where planes take off fromParis-Le Bourget airport, where Atlantic winner Charles Lindbergh also landed in 1927.
Depending on your level, there are two races to choose from: either a timed 10-kilometer run to test your limits, or a 2.5-kilometer run for a no-pressure workout at your own pace! Nearly 2,000 people will be able to take part, but places are limited, so you'll need to unblock a bib by creating an online kitty to raise 150 euros by October 1! All funds raised will be donated to Aviation Sans Frontières' humanitarian missions.
By taking part, you can even win rewards! The three most committed runners, with the highest prize pool, will receive a round-trip Premium Class ticket for two to Vietnam, courtesy of Vietnam Airlines, a Paris-New York rotation with François Suchel, Air France captain and writer, to go behind the scenes and spend 24 hours in New York, and a VIP Pack bib for the Paris 20km in October 2025!
