On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the Vredestein 20 km de Paris, the capital's iconic 20-kilometer long race, takes up quarters with the usual start on the Pont d'Iéna and finish at the foot of the unmissable Eiffel Tower.
For the past few years, in addition to offering the 20km for grown-ups (since the race is open to adults only), the 20km de Paris has been organizing a kid-friendly version with a small race for children, the 20kids, scheduled for Saturday October 12 (the day before the official race).
What's on the programme? A 1,000-meter course for children aged 6 to 9, and a 2,024-meter course for older children aged 10 to 13. The start and finish of the race will be in the official race village, with every child taking part receiving a race T-shirt as a gift, and a finisher's medal at the finish (so they can really do like the big boys).
If you'd like your child to take part in this sporting and festive event, the registration fee is €15 per child, with €3 from each entry going to charity.
