Pink October is always a good opportunity to highlight the fight against breast cancer, through events aimed primarily at women. On the night of October 5 to 6, 2024, theCasiopeea association, which promotes the practice of sport as a means of making progress towards recovery, is organizing a walking version of the marathon run in part by athletes at the Paris Olympic Games.
To raise awareness and enable women suffering from breast cancer to achieve a sporting feat, this Pink Marathon doesn't require you to be accustomed to running, as it's a great 42-kilometer night walk, not timed, so accessible to all! This 100% women's walk departs from Paris at 8pm, passing through Boulogne, Sèvres, Ville d'Avray, Versailles, Viroflay, Chaville, Meudon and Issy Les Moulineaux before returning to the 15th arrondissement in the early hours of the morning.
It's a great challenge for all those who want to take part in the fight against breast cancer, which wreaks havoc every year. But hurry up and sign up, as only 100 participants are accepted! As for the men, they can join the team of volunteers on the course, with refreshment points at every 10km, and an arrival buffet perfect for breakfast!
