On January 10, 2016, David Bowie left us at the age of 69. On Wednesday January 10, 2018, Paris Salle Pleyel will open its doors for a wonderful concert in tribute to the singer called “Celebrating David Bowie”.
On the occasion, the event will bring together the British artist’s friends and former musicians for a unique musical evening.
Many major guest musicians will also be present including Mike Garson, noticed during the “Ziggy Stardust” tour behind keys back in 1972, as well as former King Crimson member Adrian Belew who followed Bowie during his tour in 1979 and 1990.
As guests on albums “Heathen” and “Reality”, guitarist Gerry Leonard will also be in, as well as Carmine Rojas the bass player during the “Let’s Dance” and “Serious Moonlight” tours.
Guatemalan singer Gaby Moreno and rock band Fishbone singer Angelo Moore will also be part of the tour.
