Metallica in concert at the Stade de France in May 2023

Remember... On May 12, 2019, Metallica invaded the Stade de France to return among other things on the tracks from its latest opus"Hardwired... to Self-Destruct". A concert that had obviously knocked us out and to relive here! Four years later, the Californian band will once again play at the Stade de France on Wednesday 17th and Friday 19th May 2023, just to give us once again a real treat.

James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo have indeed announced a new world tour that will last until September 2024! This tour will include stops in several European cities, such as Amsterdam, Helsinki, Madrid, Warsaw, Hamburg, Munich, Copenhagen and Madrid. In France, Metallica will once again bring a smile to the faces of its fans in Paris and the Ile-de-France region with two exceptional concerts at the Stade de France , not to be missed on May 17 and 19, 2023.

During this new tour, called the"M72 World Tour", the band will play live some of its greatest hits. But the thrash metal band will also take the opportunity to unveil several new songs from their new album entitled"72 Seasons". In stores since April 14, 2023, this record consists of 12 new songs, including the single " Lux Æterna ":

On the program? Two shows, with two totally different setlists. The two opening acts will also be different. In Paris, Metallica fans will have the pleasure to see Epica and Ice Nine Kills on May 17, then Architects and Mammoth WVH on May 19, 2023. Another news, and not the least, this Metallica tour will unveil a new central circular stage with a snake pit!

We remind you that last summer, the American band played a single show in France. For this exclusive date, Metallica had chosen to set the Hellfest on fire for the very first time, while many regulars of the metal festival had been asking for them for a long time in Clisson.
