Carmen of course! It’s Carmen by Bizet. It was on the tip of your tongue.
One of the most performed operas in the world that when it was created in 1875 wasn’t a huge success. Since then, Carmen has seduced Corporal of Dragoons Don Jose and the whole world.
Don Jose was Daniel Gàlvez-Vallejo’s first character in Bastille who is now the musical director. Role performed with passion all over the world and who’s better to conduct with energy the choir, the soloists and an orchestra in this production?
