Jazzycolors 2024 Festival at Le Bicolore - Maison du Danemark

The Danish Jazz Festival will be held at Le Bicolore - Maison du Danemark for the 22nd edition of the Jazzycolors Festival, on November 8 and 9, 2024!

The Jazzycolors Festival is 22 years old. Born of an initiative by the Czech Cultural Center, it was immediately intended as a space shared by countries wishing to present the latest news from their national jazz scene in cultural venues in Paris. It's a way of crossing a border without hindrance, by crossing the threshold of a center, a cultural institute or an embassy.

Denmark is taking this opportunity to introduce us to two names in Danish jazz, at its Paris address on the Champs-Elysées: La Maison du Danemark!

Little North, a dynamic contemporary jazz trio, draws inspiration from Nordic traditions while incorporating modern influences, offering a rich and varied aural experience. With their captivating, cinematic sound and warm, intense presence, Little North befriends audiences from the very first note.

Following their recent album "While You Wait", featuring Norwegian trumpeter Oscar Andreas Haug, Little North now return to their original trio essence. The trio will present not only their latest album, but also a revisited version of their early material.

Marie Mørck is one of Denmark's most promising vocal jazz talents.

Despite her young age, she impresses all audiences and leaves her mark... with her soft, dark voice. She has a deep love of traditional jazz, but doesn't shy away from adding her own contemporary touch.

Marie Mørck released her 2nd album "Songs to Comfort" in March 2023, and the album was named Jazz Album of the Week on P8 Jazz, thanks to her original voice and irresistible talent as a singer and songwriter.
