Cercle Odyssey: Max Richter, first artist confirmed in Paris in 2025

Ever heard ofCercle? Cercle is a well-known cultural media company that regularly produces and broadcasts live electronic music concerts from unusual and unconventional locations. These include Bedouin's live show from Petra in Jordan, Sofiane Pamart's performance under the aurora borealis in Lapland, Sébastien Léger's dj set from the Pyramids of Giza, and Hania Rani in the Cour d'honneur of Les Invalides in Paris.

In 2025, Cercle plans to surprise you once again with a new concept. Called"Cercle Odyssey", this event will take place in three cities around the world in 2025: Los Angeles, Mexico City and Paris. In the French capital, Cercle Odyssey will take place over 5 days, from May 28 to June 1, 2025.

As for the line-up, Cercle Odyssey has revealed the first confirmed artist. This is Max Richter, the famous German-British composer and musician. A product of the post-minimalist movement, the artist is responsible for a host of famous film scores, including those for " Waltz with Bashir ", " Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots " and " Ad Astra ", as well as the series " The Leftovers " and " L'Amie prodigieuse ". But Max Richter is also known for his many sublime compositions, including " November ", " On the nature of daylight " and " Mercy ".

Proof of his renown, Max Richter gave two sold-out performances on November 16 at the Philharmonie de Paris, surrounded by a string ensemble.

On May 28, 2025, Max Richter will present a completely different concert in this immersive solo show. Pre-sales open December 9.

So, what can we expect? Heralded as " the first large-scale 360° nomadic concert experience ", Cercle Odyssey will offer Paris five evenings from Wednesday to Sunday, " featuring unique immersive solo shows ". As such, " each concert unfolds like a tableau vivant, with videos projected onto the walls and ceiling, all synchronized live with the music ", reads the official website. As for the artists, they will perform in the center of the structure. Audiences, meanwhile, will be free to move around, " offering different perspectives and a dynamic way to experience the show ".

Another piece of information concerns cell phones. They will not be allowed inside the structure, to ensure that spectators are truly immersed in the experience.
