Following in the footsteps of Gojira, Judas Priest and Alanis Morissette, Julien Doré, Pierre Garnier and Jean-Louis Aubert have confirmed that they will be coming to the south of France in 2025 for the latest edition of the Carcassonne festival!

For several summers now, Carcassonne has played host to a host of artists, much to the delight of local residents. Theater, circus, dance, classical music and concerts... There's something for everyone. The same goes for styles, since every year the Carcassonne Festival satisfies lovers of rock, but also of French variety and hip-hop.

And this new edition, to be unveiled in July 2025, is no exception to the rule. The proof is in the unveiling of the first names in the 2025 program , which once again promises to be a great one at the Théâtre Jean-Deschamps, located in the beautiful city of Carcassonne!

So, what program awaits you next summer in the south of France? The spotlight will be on metal, with the exceptional appearance of Gojira! The famous French metal band, originally from the Landes region of France, will be in Carcassonne on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 to play their powerful songs.

We recall that Gojira caused a sensation in July 2024 during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics by performing the song "Ah! Ça ira!". Since then, many have been waiting for a tour announcement. It's now a done deal! The Duplantier brothers and their bandmates will be touring France in 2025, with a one-off concert scheduled for theAccor Arena in Paris in autumn 2025. For the rest of the year, Gojira will be stopping off in Lyon, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Nice and Marseille, not forgetting Carcassonne. Please note that this exceptional Gojira date, to be experienced in the lovely setting of the Théâtre Jean-Deschamps in Carcassonne, will be the first of its French tour.

Another name confirmed for the Carcassonne Festival in 2025? Judas Priest! The legendary British heavy metal band will be at the Théâtre Jean-Deschamps on July 15 for what promises to be an explosive concert, driven by the unique voice of Rob Halford.

North American singer Alanis Morissette is also planning a stopover in Carcassonne this summer. The author of hits such as"Ironic","Hand in My Pocket","You Learn","Thank You" and"You Oughta Know" is scheduled to perform on July 13, 2025.

The festival is also announcing appearances by Julien Doré, Pierre Garnier, Gims and Jean-Louis-Aubert! Tickets for these four concerts open on Thursday, November 28 at 10 a.m. on the festival website.
