And for you, dear metal music lovers and enthusiasts, your favorite bands will be making a stopover in Paris over the next few months, bringing you a host of eagerly-awaited metal concerts.
Because Paris, like many other European cities, plays host to numerous concerts dedicated to extreme music every year. While some venues, such asElysée Montmartre, Backstage by The Mill and Glaz'art, have made this their speciality, other venues well known to Parisians regularly open their doors to this musical genre, offering metalheads a good dose of sharp riffs and powerful beats. These include Petit Bain, La Maroquinerie, La Boule Noire, Le Trabendo and L'Olympia.
TheAccor Arena, the Paris La Défense Arena and the Stade de France also play host to major metal bands from time to time. In 2023 alone, Gojira, Metallica, Rammstein and Guns N'Roses took over one of these three legendary Paris venues.
In the near future, other metal bands are planning to do the same, paying tribute to this unique musical style, a real outlet for some and a place of communion for others.
