When two artistic worlds meet... Ugo Rondinone and Tarek Lakhrissi'sexhibition Who is afraid of red blue and yellow? will be on view at Reiffers Art Initiatives in Paris's 17th arrondissement from October 16 to December 1, 2024. The tour is part of the Reiffers Art Initiatives mentoring program, which pairs a mentor with an emerging artist each year, providing a platform for exchange and creation.
Theexhibition is conceived as an immersive experience in which the colors red, blue and yellow play a central role. These three hues structure the space, which is divided into three distinct rooms, each dedicated to a color under the impressive glass roof. Works byUgo Rondinone, including his Clocks inspired by dials and stained-glass windows, dialogue with those by Tarek Lakhrissi, such as his bed-sculpture Sick Sad World or his video Hard to Love, exploring poetic themes through a variety of media.
Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, founder of Reiffers Art Initiatives, underlines the importance of this collaboration in the international promotion of emerging art: " I'm delighted that Reiffers Art Initiatives is playing its part in the international promotion of exciting emerging creation," he explains. A must-see for all contemporary art enthusiasts!
