When spring and its rays of sunshine arrive in Paris, we go for a stroll in search of the magnolia blossom spots that grace the capital's gardens.

With the arrival of summer, Paris is transformed! One by one, the streets and gardens of the capital take on the colors of spring, as flowers bloom throughout the season. After cherry trees and wisteria in bloom, this time we invite you to discover the most beautiful spots to admire magnolias in bloom in March.

Named after French botanist Pierre Magnol, magnolias bloom between March and April. They are very old flowers, first recorded 65 million years ago, and are frost-resistant! They can be found just about anywhere in Paris, notably near the Eiffel Tower, at the beginning of the Champ de Mars.

To admire them for sure, head for the Parc Floral de Paris, a must for all plant and flower enthusiasts, sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the city, in the 16th arrondissement. Magnolias can also be admired in the Parc Nelson Mandela.

Magnolias can also be found in the Jardin du Palais Royal, next to the Louvre. This garden often goes unnoticed, as tourists prefer to photograph themselves in front of Buren's Columns.
