During a walk in Montreuil, discover the Parc Montreau, a huge 15-hectare park where you can enjoy a stroll all year round, as well as an outdoor picnic in fine weather.

The city of Montreuil, east of Paris, boasts a number of green spaces, including three major parks: Parc des Beaumonts, with its breathtaking view of the capital; Parc Jean Moulin-les Guilands, located between Montreuil and Bagnolet; and Parc Montreau.

Located to the east of Montreuil, on the border with Rosny-sous-Bois, Parc de Montreau opened to the public in 1834, offering 15 hectares of French-style gardens. It'sone of the oldest landscaped areas in the Paris region, with remarkable trees (including a giant Sequoia and a weeping beech), water features and a pretty rose garden! As a family, you'll love the park's plant maze, playgrounds and sports facilities, including a pétanque pitch, soccer pitch and walking trails.

The park is also renowned for its beautiful views, and is listed in the inventory of picturesque sites along the Seine for this very reason! Parc Montreau is open every day, all year round, with opening times varying according to the season. To get to the park, take the RER E (Rosny-sous-Bois stop, 15 min walk) or bus 122 from Val-de-Fontenay RER A station (direction Gallieni, Babeuf stop). Have a nice walk in the Parc Montreau!
