Rendez-vous aux Jardins is a nationwide event that takes place every year on the first weekend in June, enabling you to discover the most beautiful landscaped parks and gardens in France. With hundreds of gardens, both public and private, exceptionally opening their doors, this event offers a wide range of activities, including guided tours, educational workshops, art exhibitions and themed conferences. It's the perfect opportunity for families, nature lovers and the curious of all ages to immerse themselves in the world of gardening, learn about biodiversity and celebrate our region's green heritage.
The Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Saint-Denis is housed in theformer Carmelite monastery of Saint-Denis, a place steeped in history where traces of the past still reside. Nestled in the heart of the department's capital, the museum boasts a rich collection spanning the ages, from archaeological remains to modern art, while highlighting the region's social and industrial history.
Next to the museum, the Garden of the 5 Senses is designed to stimulate hearing, smell, touch, sight and even taste. This educational garden features aromatic plants, colorful flowers... And it's specially designed to welcome visitors of all ages, including people with reduced mobility and toddlers, for a gentle awakening to the world of nature.
