After 10 years of construction work, including a monumental staircase and consolidation of the entire building, La Bellevilloise- a sprawling concert hall in the capital's 20th arrondissement that doubles as a weekend brunch restaurant - finally opened its rooftop last year, soberly named Le Toit.
Spanning 170m2 and 2 levels, this summer terrace can accommodate up to 200 people. A metal staircase provides access to theMediterranean-inspired outdoor space, which also hosts exhibitions and projections. And of course, as the icing on the cake, an exceptional panoramic view of the whole capital.
With its vintage furniture, hand-crafted creations and green décor, Le Toit is a veritable hanging garden that's sure to draw crowds all summer long. The address reopens for the 2025 season on April 11, initially from Friday to Sunday, 5pm to midnight, then from May 5, 7 days a week, weekdays from 5pm to midnight and weekends from midday to midnight.
When it comes to food and drink, Le Toit offers a simple menu based on seasonal produce, as well as a sweet menu ( ice creams) and a cocktail menu. And knowing the Bellevilloise's appetite for music, live performances may well be held there in the near future. So, let's go and discover the place?
