In the category of " original tea rooms ", we now countAki Café. Through a tasty mix of French and Japanese cuisine, this new address invites you to get off the beaten track. Aki, which we already know for its restaurant and its famous bakery, has struck again!
Aki restaurant was known for its Okonomiyaki, a vegetable omelette from Osaka. As for Aki bakery, it delighted the hearts thanks to its French-Japanese pastries like matcha opera. His tea room is the perfect opportunity to have a gourmet break with Japanese accents.
The place is bright and spacious. As soon as you walk through the doors, you start to envy the small armchairs that look so comfortable. Then you look at the displays and your stomach starts to rumble. It's time to order!
The menu is sure to satisfy every craving. For a lunch break, Aki Café offers you to try their sandwiches with homemade bread and which have nothing to do with the ham and butter that we eat on the go. The Katsu sandwich with breaded pork for example will delight you as well as the Ebi Fri Sando with fried shrimps. Bentos are also on the menu.
For a snack break, you can have a Matcha Latte. This drink which is a hit in New York has also seduced Paris. If you have a sweet tooth, why not opt for the Matcha Azuki? It is a Matcha Latte with a ball ofazuki and a dose of whipped cream sprinkled with Matcha tea.
Determined to make you salivate, Aki Café also proposes you to taste their daïfukus with endadame (young soya sprouts) or sakura (Japanese cherry blossom), as well as the pastries that make the success of Aki Boulangerie like for example the Yuzu roll.
So, when will we go back?
