Chefs Denis Bellon and Julien Delhomme enjoyed working on the new plant-based brunch offering at theOfficine du Louvre. Every weekend, in the heart of the legendary Hôtel du Louvre, guests can savor plant-based cuisine in a lush setting, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The tone is set from the outset. Plants seem to have made the place their own, from floor to ceiling, via the glass roof and the superb bar. Once you've settled in comfortably, Paris seems far away...
A veritable showcase of greenery, a nod to Napoleon and his exotic conquests, L'Officine du Louvre is all about plants. Plants have colonized the premises, from floor to ceiling, including the glass roof, the bar and, of course, the plates.
Floral vegetables, scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms, Gravlax salmon, lemongrass poultry sausage... The colorful plates dance to the rhythm of the orders.
And let's not forget the sweet tooth, with fresh fruit assortments, orange tuile, Greek yoghurt granola and the inevitable brioche perdue, adorned with a salted butter caramel you'll be telling us all about. All to be enjoyed peacefully while sipping the fresh house Elixir concocted by the bartenders. L'Officine du Louvre may now offer brunch, but it is first and foremost an excellent cocktail bar!
A historic parenthesis of greenery, calm and gourmet delights, where you can take time for yourself in the heart of Paris. We love it.
