When two major pastry chefs meet, it leads to the best and tastiest collaboration. On one hand, Pierre Hermé, on the other hand, Nicolas Cloiseau – la Maison du Chocolat pastry chef. Together, they came up with two exclusive and vegan pastries. The latter are back in stores on Fridays and Saturdays in the 8 Pierre Hermé stores now open in Paris.
For a few years now, vegan pastries are more and more present but unfortunately, the offer remains lower than the demand of gourmets and gourmands. So, vegan pastries created by two top pastry chefs is like a godsend for fans!
The first of these vegan pastries, free from ingredients of animal origin and gluten-free is called Fleur de Cassis. The latter is based on blackcurrant pepper shortbread, Belize chocolate and blackcurrant ganache, chocolate cake, blackcurrant jelly and Belize chocolate mousse.
The second vegan pastry created by Pierre Hermé and Nicolas Cloiseau is the Rose des Sables. Inside, shortcrust, almond praline, milk chocolate and rose ganache, smooth almond cream and rose praline. So, which one will you go for?
Note that these two pastries are available from March 2 to April 12, 2020 in Pierre Hermé stores (86 Champs Elysées, Bonaparte, Vaugirard, Galeries Gourmet, Bretagne, Beaupassage and Opéra) and from March 2 to late May 2020 in La Maison du Chocolat stores!
