Le Splash, the Bistrots pas Parisiens restaurant on the banks of the Seine, is launching its brunch offering every Sunday, with an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring a varied selection of sweet and savory treats to enjoy with family and friends.
Opened at the end of last summer, Splash offers an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet every Sunday lunchtime, for €38 per person (adult and child), excluding drinks. The Splash brunch is divided into 3 stands. The first offers a wide variety of breads, cereals, fruits and pastries for traditional breakfast aficionados.
A second area, the children's favorite corner, offers waffles and pancakes topped with jam, spread or whipped cream, prepared à la minute and served hot and steaming. On the same table, the chef prepares delicious omelettes with a choice of ingredients, or fried eggs, right before your eyes. You'll still have to wait a few minutes to be served.
Finally, the last spot offers a wide variety of cheeses, crudités and charcuterie, as well as homemade desserts such as apple or praline puffs. This is also where you'll find savory dishes ranging from scrambled eggs with sausages to fish and even strips of marinated beef. It's worth noting that dishes and desserts are changed regularly during service, depending on what arrives from the kitchen.
Although the menu doesn't include any hot or cold beverages, you can still opt for a home-squeezed orange juice, or the various drinks on the menu at extra cost.
In short, the Splash brunch is quite expensive, but pleasant for those who like to take their time and eat good food on a Sunday morning. We regret, however, that there are no children's rates, or a children's entertainer to look after them and offer them a variety of activities.
