Inspired by a successful concept in Tokyo and Dubai, Hoct&Loca ( anagram of chocolate)is a chocolate bar offering a new approach to chocolate tasting in Paris!
Hoct&Locacompiles tasting experiences tested around the world. From Japan, the new chocolate barretains an approach centered onthe discovery of crus of chocolate in its raw state, and the use of melted chocolate for the incarnation of its brunches and the preparation of its famous hot chocolate. From Canada, it retains the concept of coating ice cream with a layer of chocolate.
EXCEPTIONAL CHOCOLATE - six different crus
At Hoct&Loca, it all starts withthe six chocolate fountains from which the different vintages flow .
With cocoa contents ranging from 33% to 72%, the six selected chocolates reveal their distinctive characteristics. For purists, four original grands crus: the intense Venezuela72, the classic Madagascar64, the fruity Brazil55 or the very cocoa-rich Caribbean46. For gourmands, two flavoredchocolates : the tender Cara36 with its deep salted butter caramel flavor, and the regressive Noisetté33 with its hazelnut flavor.
THE BRUNCH
Atthe corner of two pedestrian streets, this chocolate nugget offers a wonderful brunch to be enjoyedon the quiet, sunny terrace, and this, every day of the week.On the menu: a three-step brunch formula specially designed for gourmets.For the main course, you can choose between a savoury waffle (parmesan, salmon, avocado, fresh cheese tartar and chives), a tartine gourmande (parsley, feta, red onions, mashed avocado), or brioche perdu, served with red fruit, salted butter caramel and homemade granola .
We're telling you, everything is to die for! All accompanied by cheese and/or charcuterie salads.The experience reaches its pinnacle when we move to the sweet with two doses of chocolate from the six vintages on offer.We fall for the ramequin of Brazil chocolate poured over sweetened mini-waffles accompanied by fresh fruit, and the deliciously chocolaty café frappé with hazelnut chocolate. On the beverage side, there's the must-try hot chocolate and chocolate-coffee. And when it comes to recipes, there's something for everyone. Milkshakes and waffles prepared to order.
