Before La Casa Del Doggo, a number of coffee shops and boutiques in the capital offered a small gourmet range for our pets, with puppuccino, the famous treat designed especially for them, just like coffee for humans. But none had taken the concept as far as the bakery for dogs, where the pooch is king, with a real menu of sweet treats adapted to him, alongside his master who can also enjoy good cakes.
Just off the Bois de Boulogne, in the 16th arrondissement, we've been discovering this pretty, colorful boutique in warm tones since May 2024. Clara welcomes us here with her adorable spitz, Ulk, in a warm and cosy atmosphere, with a corner to rest on a very soft sofa, where dogs can of course climb, it's important that they feel at home (or even better)!
In the entrance area, there's plenty of space for your pets to play together in complete safety, depending on how sociable they are. If you're a single human who loves dogs, you can of course come and telecommute among the canines, for example, but the ideal is to let your companion enjoy this place designed just for him, a real little refuge full of joy in a capital where it's sometimes complicated to take your dog everywhere.
In this bakery, you'll find a number of homemade treats, including heart-shaped pancakes, shortbread and waffles, filled with meat and other flavors that our four-legged friends love, without any danger to them. But don't be too greedy: a 5 kg dog can only eat one of these cakes a day, to avoid exceeding its nutritional requirements!
For once, there's as much on offer as there is for humans, with a choice of doughnuts, cookies, chocolate marbré and muffins, which you shouldn't leave with your pet, because just in case, cocoa is deadly for them! Serve with a coffee or juice, and a bowl of fresh water to share a special moment, even if one of you is more likely to gobble up your cake than the other!
To pamper your friend 100% for life, a self-service dog wash is available from 25 euros, whatever the size of your companion - ideal after a messy walk! Of course, a wide range of accessories, treats and toys of all kinds are on sale, to keep your dog or puppy busy and happy.
