Philippe Conticini, one of the world's finest pastry chefs, continues his conquest of the capital. After Rue du Bac (7th arrondissement), Rue de Longchamp (16th arrondissement), Rue Poncelet (17th arrondissement) and the Parly 2 shopping center (Le Chesnay, 78), he opened a new corner of his Pâtisserie des Rêves in the brand-new Beaugrenelle shopping center at the end of October.
Just like its big sisters, the store boasts an acidic decor, with pastries treated like real jewels under glass cloches. We melt in front of the ultra-classics we love: the famous Saint-Honoré, the demented Paris-Brest, the kick-ass millefeuille, the lemon tart just right...
In this small 50m2 boutique, you'll discover not only the viennoiseries, but also the new products that regularly wake up your taste buds. After the tarte conversation or the stick version of the Kouign Amann, we're all smitten with the logs for Christmas, which are just to die for.
For the record, Pâtisserie des Rêves was born in 2009 from the encounter between Philippe Conticini, the talented pastry chef and inventor of verrines, and Thierry Teyssier, creative artistic director.
The aim of the creators was to give children a taste for pastries, and to create a gourmet memory by revisiting the great classics of French patisserie. That's why, for 4 years now, Pâtisserie des Rêves has been bringing you great classics, constantly revisited with delight and gourmandise. But that's not all: its creators also had the ambition of making the eyes of customers shine as they entered the store.
We love the merry-go-round presentation and the enchanting colors that whet our appetites.
On that note, I'll leave you to it, I've got cakes to buy...
