The originator of Funky Brunch is a vivacious thirty-something: Jaqueline Chelliah.
She's been livening up Genevans' Sundays since December 2013, offering brunch but adding a festive touch. It quickly met with great success and became the must-attend Sunday event in Geneva! Already 24 editions that are always sold out with an average of 120 participants.
The concept is to find a unique location, such as a farm, a wine cellar, down the slopes... which is only revealed at the last minute. What's more, participants book even before they know the location. Then add a gourmet brunch. This one will be prepared by a famous Parisian Michelin-starred chef. All accompanied by an r&b, hip hop and funky DJ. What's more, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy it, as the little funky bruncheurs have their own area with their own activities, supervised by babysitters.
