It's time to discover the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2024, the 50 best restaurants in the world, compiled every year for over 20 years by a panel of voters made up of 1,080 independent personalities from the gastronomy sector - renowned chefs, food journalists and gourmet travelers.
First, the restaurants ranked from 51st to 100th place were revealed, with Parisians and Ile-de-France once again well placed in the 51-100 ranking, with 2 restaurants in the half-list: Le Doyenné in Saint-Vrain in Essonne in 70th place and Alléno Paris at the Pavillon Ledoyen in 79th place.
The rest of the ranking, from 50th to 1st place, was revealed on June 5, 2024. Arnaud Donckele's restaurant Plénitude, located in the Cheval Blanc hotel in the Samaritaine district, was awarded 18th place; Septime, located in the 12th arrondissement, which was already in the top 30 last year, climbed to 11th place.
Last but not least, the Michelin-starred Table de Bruno Verjus, also located in the 12th arrondissement, climbs to the top of the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2024 ranking, from 10th place last year to 3rd place this year. L'Arpège also returns to the top of the ranking, in 45th place.
