The Astotel hotel chain has a knack for creating hotels like no other: remember we told you about the Hotel Joke, which puts games and jokes at the heart of its design, and the Hotel Augustin, which tells the story of Paris through the adventures of a little character drawn on the walls.
This time around, there's no particular theme, apart from the recurrence of the three colors of the French flag, monumentally displayed in the courtyard and subtly punctuating the room decorations: blue, white, red, everywhere.
The hotel impresses first and foremost with its huge lobby/lounge, featuring lots of big, comfy sofas under a luxurious glass roof. Here, you can read, chat, nibble (there's a free buffet during the day!) and have breakfast in the morning. The glass elevator transports you upstairs with contemporary grace.
In the rooms, we enjoy the calm of the courtyard and the soothing blue tones. A free mini-bar, a writing desk and top-notch bedding make us completely forget the proximity of nightclubs and theaters. The bathrooms are spacious and perfectly equipped.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this 3-star hotel, which deserves 4 stars for its impeccable quality, welcome and cleanliness. An excellent address, to be recommended to all types of guests!
