You may have heard about “Les Pinces”, a restaurant that opened its first spot in the Marais in 2014. Since then, it opened some more eateries. You can now enjoy yourself on the Left Bank and near Pigalle.
On the lively rue de Douai, already housing some nice restaurants, we discover the new Les Pinces. A small terrace, a bay window, perfect to enjoy the sun on good days. The décor remains the same than the one that made the success of the other two spots. A warm and nature atmosphere with an industrial vibe, including wood, bench seats, a large bar and salvaged school chairs, here’s the décor.
As for the menu, we remain with sure bets that made the success of the brand. We can choose between the whole lobster, the lobster roll, the grilled prime rib of beef à la plancha or even the new Surf and Turf that in addition to the prime rib of beef add half a lobster. And served with a nice salad, tasty fries and homemade mayonnaise and dressings, that’s perfect. Allow €25 for each dish and extra €10 for the Surf and Turf.
You can also treat yourself to the nice and fruity cocktails and beautifully wrap up with a tasty dessert. Chocolate mousse, homemade crumble and vanilla ice cream scoop, or cheesecake expect you. We went for the tantalizing cheesecake and the dessert of the moment, the delicious strawberry soup.
In other words, another good table to enjoy fresh, affordable and delicious lobster.
