" Stretching an invisible bridge between Israel and France, Jerusalem and Paris ". This is the goal set by Assaf Granit, Uri Navon, Dan Yosha and Tomer Lanzmann, the four instigators behind Shabour.
After Balagan, the two famous Israeli chefs Assaf Granit and Uri Navon decided to open a restaurant " with eight hands, four heads and four hearts ", as they put it.
Located on rue Saint-Sauveur in the 2nd arrondissement, Shabour (which could be translated as " broken" in Hebrew) is one of the capital's new gourmet addresses !
Inside, there's a central kitchen, around which diners sit for maximum complicity with the chefs. Described as " mobile, sincere, demanding and wandering ", Shabour 's cuisine is Israeli in its touch, its approach and its often unprecedented flavors.
Let yourself be tempted, for example, by grilled octopus with harissa sauce, peach garden and babba ganoush, or pearly red mullet with matbucha, aniseed and feta, not forgetting a poached egg, smoked with tea, tahini foam, salmon roe and caviar. Shabour doesn't forget the sweet tooth with a chocolate mousse, fleur de sel and olive oil!
So, your mouth is already watering? Don't delay, head to Shabour for what promises to be a unique culinary voyage.
And for a gastronomic voyage without leaving home, Shabour is launching Shabour à la maison, a made-to-measure voyage comprising 3 amuse-bouches, two starters, a main course, a cheese and a dessert, ending with a few dried and fresh fruits to share over a signature infusion. Thewine and food pairing prepared by the sommelier completes the journey from Jerusalem to Paris!
