Head for the 8th arrondissement, and more precisely Boulevard Haussmann, to discover a brand new gourmet address that has just opened its doors: Brasserie Pastis. The team behind Brasserie Cézanne is at the helm of this spot, and the name of this new place will probably have given you a clue as to what you'll be tasting: a cuisine of sweet Mediterranean flavours.
In an atmosphere reminiscent of the old streets of Sicilian villages, for lunch, aperitif or dinner, enjoy the dishes imagined by young chef Alexandre Laumont . Originally from southern Italy, he finds inspiration for his colorful dishes in his many travels around the world.
On the menu, he surprises with unexpected combinations, drawing inspiration from his travels from Switzerland to Japan, from Asia to Southwest Africa. Among the star dishes, made with fresh produce from Italy: arancini with truffle and mozzarella, linguine alla vongole, spaghetti cacio e pepe, beef tagliatas for meat lovers and sea bream with herbs if you prefer fish, not forgetting marinated and grilled vegetables.
To accompany these sun-drenched dishes, opt for one of the many signature cocktails, such as the 'Promenade sous les amandiers' made with Pastis Henri Bardouin, Amaretto Disaronno, orgeat syrup, squeezed lime and the 'Sweet provençal honey' with Gin bombay infused with thyme, cranberry, squeezed lime and Provençal honey.
A sunny spot in the 8th arrondissement!
