If you're a lover of crêpes and galettes, don't miss out on the Breizh Café Batignolles! Nestled in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, this crêperie-épicerie fine will tantalize your taste buds with recipes that are not only tasty, but also original.

Anyone who hasn't heard of Breizh Café should raise their hand! Not many, obviously. Breizh Café has become a veritable institution, whether in Brittany, Japan or Paris. Behind this gourmet concept is Bertrand Larcher, a native of Brittany who fell in love with Japan, his adopted country. The result is a delicious culinary rapprochement between these two cultures.

Since launching his concept in 2004, Bertrand Larcher has not been idle, opening no fewer than 7 addresses in Paris, each with its own identity(cider cellar in Montorgueil, rolls in Saint-Martin, huge terrace in Odéon, draught cider in Paul Bert...). And a little bird tells us that the Breizh Café adventure is far from over... The chain plans to open two other locations in the Paris region, one in Vincennes (with a focus on seafood), in February, and the other in Boulogne, due to open at the end of March.

Today, we take a look at Breizh Café, located in Les Batignolles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. What makes it special? A delicatessen corner stocked with fine Breton products and ciders, with a large table d'hôtes at the entrance. Of course, Breizh Café Batignolles also features the unmissable menu of galettes and crêpes for which the brand is famous.

The classics include a galette made with chorizo from the Basque region, a mirror-finish organic egg and Comté cheese, as well as a delicious galette with artisan ham and Italian truffles, also with a mirror-finish organic egg and Comté cheese. If you're really hungry, you'll want to try the specialties, such as the galette made withandouille from Guéméné, onion confit, organic mirror egg, Comté cheese and mustard cream, or the raclette made with raw milk, grilled bacon, onion confit, scrambled organic egg, potatoes and crème fraîche.

And don't miss the seasonal galette, made with delicious scallops, spinach, Jerusalem artichokes, Comté cheese, shiso, yuzu butter, and a lemon ginger sauce to spice things up - pure delight! And don't forget to accompany these tasty galettes with a green salad with wasabi vinaigrette or a green salad with cider vinegar.

As for the crêpes, make way for the crêpe of the moment, made with melting caramelized apples, buckwheat crumble and vanilla ice cream, all flambéed with Fine de Bretagne!

For the more classic, we warmly recommend the crêpe de froment (100% organic wheat from Brittany) made with " Maison Bordier " churned butter, or homemade salted butter caramel (plain, rum or ginger), or homemade spread.

For even more originality, opt for a crêpe topped with " Kinako " soy powder, Okinawa black sugar and matcha ice cream.

To accompany these crêpes and galettes, Breizh Café has a fine selection of ciders (Brut, doux, poiré...), including their signature. Breizh Café has its own farm in Saint-Coulomb, between Cancale and Saint-Malo, where buckwheat and over 1,000 apple trees have been planted! Enough to make some fine vintages. So, are you ready to give in to temptation?
