With this new temporary place, the duo shines a light on Japanese street-food, and especially sando sandwich, in a pop atmosphere – look at the ceiling and enjoy the very original chandelier designed by artist Imruh Asha and made with children’s toys!
Thomas Coupeau who created a list of signature sandos. In all, 6 recipes can be enjoyed in this pop-up, based on quality ingredients including fluffy bread custom-made by Babka Zana according to a traditional Japanese bread recipe.
Shall we give you a peek at Ototo’s recipes?
To pair your sando, get the chicken karrage and homemade shoyu mayonnaise, the cheesy balls and homemade yuzu-kosho mayonnaise, or the regressive smiley-shaped fries. And for a beautiful finish, get the rice pudding and black sesame crumble, kuromizu sauce and kinako: how original!
Please note Ototo plans to have several guest chefs to create signature sando for a weekend, starting with Chef Julien Sebbag from May 31 to June 5.
A temple of sando open until the end of summer!
