Rue Leriche, in the 15th arrondissement, nestles Le Cambodge, one of those storefronts you'd almost walk right past: with nothing out of the ordinary. And yet, as soon as you walk through the door, the spirit of a small, friendly neighborhood address fills the premises of this boui-boui, whereyou can come for lunch with colleagues, dinner with the family or a comforting meal.
On the menu are the house classics: the unmissable bo bun with its egg rolls, lemongrass chicken pieces, raw vegetables (bean sprouts, carrots, cucumber, mint), cold noodles in various versions (royal with lemongrass sausage), shrimp, vegetarian.... There's also amok fish, a traditional Cambodian dish in which cod fillet is steamed with spices, coconut milk and bamboo shoots in banana leaves.
More common are wok-fried noodle dishes - with ginger chicken, lemongrass chicken, curry chicken, peking pork, etc. - noodle soups and phở, perfect for cooler weather. Count on €10.90 to €13.90 per dish, an almost unbeatable price for the neighborhood, especially as the portions are truly generous! In the evening, the restaurant offers complete starter-main course-dessert formulas, from €17 to €20. If you live in the neighborhood, work nearby or are just passing through the Porte de Versailles exhibition center, this is a great, fast and affordable address that we warmly recommend.
