Some of you may have never heard about ceviche – this typically Peruvian dish based on raw fish marinated in lemon juice – and yet, this culinary concept seems to have lots of fans in Paris…
Proof of it, after Fish Club and while Bertrand Grébaut – running Septime restaurant – is about ot open a new place inviting us to discover ceviche, Chloé and Fiona have decided to make the project blooming in their heads for two years already come true: opening a cevicheria in Paris.
This crazy challenge has come true this past July when they settled in at 16 rue Marie Stuart in the heart of the legendary Montorgueil neighborhood.
On the menu? Typical recipes as well as more original dishes that will intrigue and delight your taste buds.
“We serve traditional dishes such as the Peruvian seabream ceviche, but we also reinvent some dishes with, for instance, salmon, scallop, veal, passion fruit, wasabi and even fennel flowers…”
As for freshness, we can rely on Fiona and Chloé’s professionalism as they meet the local store-keepers every morning to make sure you have the freshest products.
To make the most of them, both founders have also just received two types of beers: the Brooklyn Lager and the Altiplano, the lama’s beer, a gluten-free quinoa beer.
Result? The success is here, and patrons are running to La Cevicheria so much that you better book a table to have dinner.
What’s next? Fitting the basement to privatize the area, offering the take-away offer as well as new recipes fitting the upcoming winter…
