In Paris, one can say that delicacies-lovers are in vein these days... With L’Eclair de Génie, the Maison du Chou and Gâteau Thoumieux, along a few others, Paris is closer to Paradise than it has ever been.
And it just keeps getting better, as we now have Acide, a true dessert's restaurant.
After a first store, dedicated to macaroons, pastry chef Jonathan Blot, previously at the Plaza Athénée and the Jules Verne, has decided to open a second location in the 17th arrondissement.
And we believe that this tearoom will not leave anyone indifferent. All you need to do is go in, take a look at the cakes on display, make a pick and enjoy.
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack... Each time of day has its own pleasures. For Jonathan Blot, this "Sweet Store" is an opportunity to meet inspired and inspiring customers, who share with him a number of values and culinary passions.
For instance, at Acide, the customer can go for a cream puff pastry ("religieuse"), a Paris-Brest as well as a Saint-Honoré, without having to face the dilemma of choice: just eat all three thanks to the Chef's idea of the mini cakes (gâteau-bouchée).
The Desserts Restaurant also offers a menu of plated desserts, prepared and served as individual slices.
Let us stress that here, everything is homemade : from the pastries to bread through lemonade, syrup or cakes...
To go with all this delicious food, Acide offers quality hot drinks, thanks to the best suppliers such as the Café Lomi, with which Jonathan Blot and his wife Renata work closely and continuously on finding the best recipes around coffee.
