Contes et Histoires 2024: create your own board game at the Maison des Jardies

For the 2024 Christmas vacations, the Maison de Jardies, located in Sèvres (92), is offering creative workshops for the whole family, as part of Contes et Histoires, an event organized within the Monuments Nationaux, from December 21, 2024 to January 4, 2025.

The Contes et Histoires family event returns in December 2024 for a new edition, to be experienced during the Christmas vacations. This cultural event, devised by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, invites families to rediscover France's heritage through original and often unusual tours, activities and events. In the Hauts-de-Seine region, the Maison des Jardies, located in Sèvres, invites us to take part in its fun-filled program!

The Maison des Jardies was Léon Gambetta's haven of peace. Before him, Balzac had already fallen in love with this little pavilion. The house now belongs to the state, which has turned it into a place dedicated to the memory of the founding father of the Third Republic and the highlights of his political career.

During the Christmas vacations, the Maison des Jardies welcomes us to discover its rich history, but also to have fun with its events and activities for the whole family. Parents and children are invited to visit the monument, and enjoy the organized activities, on December 21 and 22, 2024, and January 2, 3 and 4, 2025.

Toys by the thousands
Take advantage of the cosy atmosphere at the Maison des Jardies and plunge into the heart of the 19th century. Come and take part in a board game creation workshop, or let yourself be guided by a storyteller through traditional and amusing tales.
