At Easter, the Île-de-France region is transformed into a huge playground where bells and rabbits leave behind a trail of chocolate surprises. From parks to museums and castles, egg hunts abound, much to the delight of youngsters (and gourmands!). This year, Maisons-Laffitte (Yvelines, 78) joins the party with an egg hunt at the Château de Maisons, on Monday April 21, 2025. A life-size game where suspense and chocolate go hand in hand.
Here, there's no question of collecting eggs at random: a mission of the utmost importance awaits the children. Their parents have disappeared into the maze of this fairytale castle, and only a magical treasure hunt will help them find them. Between riddles and challenges, young visitors will have to use their flair and adventurous spirit to get their hands on the secret formula and, of course, the chocolate reward. To embark on this quest, children (aged 7 to 18) pay €7.50 and accompanying adults €11 (booking essential). And for the little ones, there's good news! A free egg hunt is organized in the gardens (€7.50 for accompanying adults). If it rains, don't panic, the adventure continues inside the château.
Ready to melt away the mystery? Then head for Maisons-Laffitte for a royal egg hunt!
