Coronavirus: update on places open or closed and what you can and cannot do in Paris

France is now on stage 3 of the coronavirus epidemic. This is what announced Prime Minister Edouard Philippe last night, Saturday March 14, 2020, at the same time as shutting down restaurants, bars, movie theaters and all non-essential stores to the life of the nation. What places are still open? What are those closing? What is forbidden to do? Let’s give you an update!

There we go! France is now on stage 3 of the coronavirus pandemic. An announce made by Prime Minister Edouard Philippe last night on Saturday March 14, 2020 also saying that all “non-essential” places to the life of the country will be closed until April 15th, 2020 at least.

What we should do now is simply avoid gatherings as much as possible, limit friendly and family reunions, only use public transit to go to work and only if your physical presence is required, go out only to go grocery shopping, exercise or to go vote” French Prime Minister has said.

Following Prime Minister’s address as for the closing until further notice of all places welcoming non-essential public to the life of the country, a decree published in the Journal Officiel yet says that restaurants are “allowed to maintain their take-away and delivery services”.
