Fortunately, the gourmet competitions organized by the Chambres de Métiers et de l'Artisanat (Chambers of Trades and Crafts ) in the Paris region are there to give us a helping hand. With the best galettes des rois inEssonne, Seine-et-Marne, Val-d'Oise and Greater Paris due to be announced in the coming weeks, here's a look at the best almond galette 2025 in Yvelines, as judged by the department's bakers' federation! The verdict was announced on November 13.
In 2025, gourmets and lovers of frangipane will meet in Gargenville. Maison Bourguignon, located at 22 avenue Mademoiselle Dosne, won first prize in the"Employers" category for the best 2025 almond cake in Yvelines. This Gargenville bakery-patisserie, run by Rodolphe Bourguignon, has thus come out on top and won the latest edition of the department's best almond galette competition.
As the store reminds us on its social networks, Maison Bourguignon has already won first place for the best galette in Yvelines in 2017 and 2021, as well as the prize for the best galette in Île de France in 2022. The establishment was also among the finalists for France's best galette in 2023.
With this new title, Maison Bourguignon succeeds Maison Haelewyn (Marly-le-Roi), last year's winner in the same category, but also in the"Employees" and"Apprentices" categories.
In the " Employees " category, Camille Marquet from L'atelier d'Antoine in Gazeran took first place this year. Finally, Marion Bonnetain, fromAtelier des 2 frères in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, took first prize in the " Appentis " category.
Note that this best almond galette 2025 in Yvelines will be available to taste at Maison Bourguignon, located in Gargenville (22 avenue Mademoiselle Dosne), from January onwards.
