Work continues on public transport systems in Paris and the surrounding area. This autumn, there will be plenty of underground work, with partial or total closures announced for metro lines 14, 11, 6 and 5.
On the ground, work will also disrupt streetcar traffic this autumn, as on line T3b. The Porte d'Asnières station will be closed for 25 days, due to the " removal of track equipment ".
In detail, RATP advises that Porte d'Asnières station on tramway T3b will be closed from October 21 to November 14, 2023 inclusive. As a result, Porte de Clichy station (metro lines 13 and 14, and RER C) will become the temporary terminus on this tramway line for the duration of the works. If you wish to reach Porte d'Asnières station, allow around 13 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by bike from Porte de Clichy station.
As RATP points out, this work is necessary as part of the T3b tramway extension. Tramway T3b is due to be extended westwards to Porte Dauphine, with 7 new stations scheduled to open in spring 2024. The Porte d'Asnières station will be renamed after the pianist Marguerite Long.
