In the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Île-de-France Mobilités is announcing the introduction of 10 free shuttle bus routes. The aim? To make it easier for spectators to get to the most remote competition venues in the Paris region.
The more the days go by, the more the pressure mounts for French athletes, impatient at the idea of taking part in these Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. While several of the competition venues are located in the heart of the capital or close to a metro station, this is not the case for all of them, such as the Guyancourt national golf course or the Colline d'Élancourt, where the mountain bike events are expected to take place.
This is why Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) has decided to help future spectators who wish to reach these competition sites, which are further away from the public transport network. How can we help? By setting up a system of 10 free shuttle bus routes, with " 450 mostly articulated buses " scheduled to run to exactly 6 competition venues. So, which sites are involved? What are the routes and how often will the shuttles run? We tell you all about it.
