In the 7th arrondissement, the Champ-de-Mars will be fully occupied for the events, while in the 8th,fencing and archery competitions are expected on the esplanade des Invalides or under the glass roof of the Grand Palais. As you'll have gathered, Paris isn't doing things by halves for this summer's Games, with historic Olympic sites and exceptional venues set aside for international athletes to perform.
In the 4th arrondissement, only one Olympic site is available to host some of the events, or at least the start of them.
