The Olympic Games are also an opportunity to meet cultures from all over the world. And precisely for the Paris 2024 Olympics, several countries taking part in this international sporting competition are giving us a rendezvous in ephemeral venues where we can enjoy special programming and entertainment. Not far from the Place de la Concorde Olympic site, on Rue Cambon, the Olympic House of the United Arab Emirates invites us to dive into the Middle East.
From July 27 to August 11, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., discover this free, open-access venue that promises an immersive, family-friendly experience. The United Arab Emirates Olympic House is inspired by traditional Emirati Sh'abi houses, and is divided into eight zones spread over 610m2.
Each of these spaces is expected to present a different aspect of this Arabian Peninsula state, between its history, culture and hospitality. "Using the latest technologies, the experience is highly interactive, including augmented reality games and digital experiences for children and families," says the venue. In particular, 3 interactive augmented reality games inspired by traditional Emirati games are announced.
There's also the Café Erth, designed by the eponymous Michelin-starred restaurant in Abu Dhabi, where guests can discover dishes and drinks also inspired by the United Arab Emirates. Finally, a boutique offers souvenirs by FOUNT, an Abu Dhabi-based concept store specializing in local Emirati handicrafts, including palm weaving, mixed with contemporary inspirations. Please note: this is not an Olympic Games venue !
