Developed by Clapperheads, this game puts you in the shoes of a night watchman, in a zoo stricken by a strange disease. One by one, the animals fall ill and turn into bloodthirsty monsters... Can you survive?
A simple but effective idea: that's what Clapperheads is proposing, with this PC game scheduled for release in 2024. A trailer was unveiled on January 16, 2024.
" It's your first shift as a night zookeeper. You discover that some animals are infected and turning into mutants. Save them and yourself. Unravel the zoo's mystery. Make wise choices, for they will determine your end. "
This first-person game mixes horror and simulation. Feed the animals, take care of them and their enclosures, make sure the stock levels are right... And avoid being devoured by mutant creatures. In between tasks, try to find a cure for the mysterious infection that turns friendly animals into nightmares.
Did you know: zoochosis is a real term, referring to the study of behavioral disorders, or mental illness, in animals. With a virus like this spreading through the zoo, your study work should be complicated...
As you can see from the trailer, Zoochosis is not for the faint-hearted. Monsters, blood, crushing: the horror is highly visual, and not for everyone.
