Alan Wake 2: creepy The Lake House DLC gets a release date

At the Xbox Partner conference, Alan Wake 2's DLC once again showed its face, with a trailer and a release date. Entitled The Lake House, it will be available on October 22, 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Play as Special Agent Kiran Estevez and immerse yourself in a new paranormal investigation on the shores of Cauldron Lake, just in time for Halloween.

Ready to return to the Federal Bureau of Control in Cauldron Lake this time?Alan Wake 2's DLC, The Lake House, awaits you from October 22, 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. This extension, a new trailer for which was unveiled at the Xbox Partner conference on October 17, will take us back to the dark world of Cauldron Lake, where Special Agent Kiran Estevez, played by Janina Gavankar(Star Wars Battlefront II), will have to investigate a Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) research station.

In The Lake House, players will discover a new plot parallel to the main story ofAlan Wake 2. Kiran Estevez is investigating paranormal events linked to a series of experiments gone wrong at the mysterious FBC station. According to Remedy Entertainment, " a collision between reality and the Dark Place " has been caused by a deranged scientist, threatening to open doors to another world. This scenario promises to explore connections with Control, a game from the studio and linked to Alan Wake, with even a nod to Jesse Faden, director of the Bureau, possibly making an appearance.

Although no gameplay has yet been revealed, the September 2024 State of Play trailer offered a first glimpse of The Lake House's ambience. Remedy has confirmed that this expansion will link up with Control 2, currently in development.
