The Brain Race is back for its4th edition at the Domaine National de Saint Germain en Laye! Having brought together over 300 people last year, the LFSEP is aiming even higher this year to make this event a major event in the fight against multiple sclerosis in France.
Join the solidarity race and help raise public awareness of multiple sclerosis, the 1st cause of non-traumatic disability in France, which affects more than 120,000 people, ¾ of whom are women!
The LFSEP is lucky enough to be supported by World Athletics Champion Stéphane DIAGANA: "This is a superb opportunity to take care of yourself and support the French Multiple Sclerosis League!
MS is a disease whose symptoms and development can be limited through appropriate physical activity and sport. So come and join us in this event of solidarity!
A wide range of activities await you in the village, including handisport initiations, massages, musical warm-ups, partner meetings, a parenthesis course, and meetings with the League's Expert Patients...
The Brain Race is accessible to all, with 3 different courses:
- 16.73 kms race: a course combining sporting challenge and heritage, this atypical distance refers to the year of construction of the Grande Terrasse du Domaine de Saint Germain en Laye, built by André Le Nôtre. A trail course through the forest of the Domaine de Saint Germain en Laye to get you in shape before the Paris Marathon!
- 10 kms race: the ultimate running distance! Enjoy the Terrasse de Saint Germain and a stroll through the national forest at your own pace!
- 2.5 kms walk: a shorter distance accessible to all, whether you're walking, cycling or in a wheelchair... take the start of the Brain Race alongside the association's volunteers! You can double up to complete a 5-kilometer race!
