Running has never been so popular with amateur athletes. Numbers for half-marathons and other marathons are snapped up, resold and, above all, sold out months before the event.
This is particularly true of the Paris Marathon, which, despite the large number of bibs sold each year, has been sold out since early October (even though the race is only 7 months away!). In short, it's the perfect time to take up running yourself, with an achievable goal to challenge and please yourself, at the start of 2025.
The months of January, February, March or April are one of the best seasons to consider a bib for an official race. With weather that's cool but never too hot, conditions are ideal for runners. In the end, the hardest part will certainly be the physical preparation required for such events: depending on the distance and requirements chosen for your race, you'll have to train in the depths of winter. While both the Paris Semi and the Marathon are already sold out, there are still plenty of great opportunities for beginners and advanced runners alike!
