How about a little trail running in the Paris region? On Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, 2024, Hardricourt will be hosting the return of the town's major trail event, the Choco'Trail. With races for children and adults alike, the event is open to beginners and amateur runners alike, with courses accessible to all.
In the heart of the French Vexin, the town of Hardricourt stands out for its natural surroundings: during this trail, the neighboring villages and wide open spaces of this corner of the Yvelines département are particularly highlighted, with children's races for kids and trail circuits ranging from 8 to 42 kilometers.
Why the Choco'Trail?
Hardricourt is where the Fabrique de Chocolat Barry produces its chocolate: in 2014, the then mayor of Hardricourt wanted to highlight the surrounding countryside, perfect for beautiful hikes and this gourmet heritage of the town, by creating the Choco'Trail. As a result, every trail runner receives a chocolate medal, hot chocolate is served at the refreshment posts, and competitors even receive a small ballotin when they cross the finish line.
